Go back fifty or sixty years, and hardly anyone had tattoos. About the only people who did so were sailors. Quite why that should be is not really known. But not many other people had them.
However, that all changed, and it has now got to the point where lots of people have tattoos. Many of these people are so-called celebrities, such as the former footballer David Beckham, musician Zayn Malik, or Justin Bieber. With the last one, it is hard to find a plain piece of skin!
Of course, the more celebrities have tattoos, the more other people want to copy them, which is why tattoo parlors seem to be springing up all over the place. This is true in affluent communities like Burlingame California; and, let’s be honest, it’s not just the teenage set that has tattoos. Many older Burlingame residents have come to regret that youthful indiscretion. While a lot of people have a tattoo that they have considered for some time, quite a number of people have one on the spur of the moment. It is all too easy to go to a party and find that someone suggests that this or that tattoo would look great on you or that your girlfriend would think it is fabulous if you had her name tattooed on your forehead or your arm, and – having perhaps had a sherbet or two too many – you think that it would be fabulous. So off you go to the tattoo parlor.
Of course, this will probably go down very well with the girlfriend, and all your mates will tell you it looks fantastic, and no doubt you are very happy that they persuaded you to have it done.
That Was Ten Years Ago. Is it Time to Remove that Tattoo?
But that was ten years ago. And unfortunately, things can change. You split up with the girlfriend, but you are now stuck with walking around with her name in a prominent position on your body and are looking for a San Mateo tattoo removal clinic.
Well, at Silicon Valley Aesthetic Dermatology we are not a San Mateo tattoo removal clinic in the sense that we are not actually in San Mateo. However, we are in Foster City which is only a few minutes’ drive away, and we can help you to get rid of that outdated and unwanted tattoo.
Modern technology means that we can now use a laser in order to remove unwanted tattoos, so that you can get rid of the extra “baggage” that you are carrying around with you and which you thought you were stuck with forever.
Our skin care specialists can inspect your tattoo and advise on the most appropriate treatment for you in order to remove it permanently.
As a San Mateo tattoo removal clinic, we are always happy to provide you with a free consultation which you can book by clicking on the Contact link at the top of the page.
